Insight® Client software is a Java-based application that runs over the Internet. In order to view image collections using the Insight® Java Client, you must first download the software to a PC or Mac computer that meets the minimum machine requirements. Download time will range from approximately 1 minute on a high speed line to 30 minutes on 56K modem.

Installation & Logon Instructions

Win95/98/2000/NT/XP

At the file download prompt, choose "save this program to disk" and then to your Desktop. After the download, double click the Insight icon, and click through the install process. When you are done, Insight will be available under your Start Menu/Programs/Luna Imaging/Insight. Start Insight by selecting it.

Access Instructions for Windows users:

1) After installation, go to Start, menu/Programs/Luna Imaging/Insight

2) Enter your username and password *

3) Select a collection by clicking once on the collection name, and then click the select button

* Note: The Insight client software requires a user name and a password that should have been provided to you by your system administrator. If you have questions regarding your username and/or password contact your systems administrator or contact Luna Imaging Technical Support.

Macintosh OSX 10.2+

At the file download prompt, choose save file and then to your Desktop. After download completes, double-click the Insight Installer icon on your desktop, and click Continue. Drag the Insight Installer icon onto your hard drive. When the Insight installation is complete, click Quit. Double-click the Luna Insight JVA icon on your desktop to launch Insight JVA.

Access Instructions for Macintosh users:

1) After installation, double click on the Insight icon that appears on the desktop after installation.

2) Enter your username and password *

3) Select a collection by clicking once on the collection name, and then click the select button
