Cross Collection Search Insight provides the most comprehensive cross-collection searching in image management systems available today. Using the Getty crosswalk as the mapping guide, Insight maps every collection's metadata fields against local and international standards (e.g. CIMI, MARC, VRA Core, Dublin Core). When searching multiple collections with different metadata fields, Insight uses the mapping as a "translator" between disparate collections to resolve the best fit of standards. Collections are searched simultaneously, and can reside anywhere on the Internet allowing Insight customers to collaborate and share image collections worldwide.
