Editing Records The Editor View is the main data entry form for cataloging Insight collections, and can be customized per collection. Inscribe can be used to catalog Insight collections with dissimilar metadata schemas (VRA, Dublin Core, institution-specific). If you do not have a database structure, a relational database template of the VRA Core 3.0 already configured with Inscribe is available. Inscribe supports repeating values, complex data relationships, required
fields, field formatting, and more. Insight’s media handling tools
are available in Inscribe so that catalogers can view image details
while describing visual material. |
