Insight License

For the Academic Community, Insight is available in two license options. A Subscription License is offered at a starting point of $1,000, and a Purchase License for unlimited content is $8,500. Annual Basic Maintenance and Support is available for $3,880 while Premium Support is offered for an annual of $5,980.

Hosted Solution

Luna has the Insight architecture in place to support distributed collection building. This permits our Hosted clients to remotely build and manage their own Insight collections directly to the hosted servers. Luna’s Hosted version of Insight supports collection owners who want all of the end-user and administrative capabilities of Insight, but do not have the necessary server space and systems support to host their collection locally.

Collections of any size can be hosted, and are expandable as collection needs grow. Collection owners remain in control because they can build, manage and edit hosted collections from anywhere, via the internet, using Insight’s easy tools for adding content and images to collections. Hosted services start at $2,400 per year.

Consortium License

The new Insight Consortium model facilitates distributed collection building and allows Member institutions to participate without the need for a full Insight license. Because the Consortial Host will hold the Insight license, Members can pay as little as $2,100 to have access to local Insight collection building tools.
