Image groups are a collection of images that can be saved into a group or collection (image group) or it can be a retrievable file (from a User Group within the User Manager, for example, newgroup1.grp) of a group of images that can be easily retrieved and viewed. Users can create, save, and reuse groups.
To make selecting and saving image groups easier, directory tree-structures are provided for both the Open Group and Save Image into Group features.
This option includes:
Open Group - Allows you to open any saved image group in Insight, including image groups within a collection of your choice. To open a group of images, click on the image group of your choice from the directory tree structure. You can select from a collection (for example, David Rumsey), or from a User Group from the User Manager (for example, Faculty-Research).
New Group - Enables you to make new image groups.
Delete Image From Group - Enables you to delete images from any Image Group. You must have the Save privilege or authority.
Save Image Into Group - Allows you to add or save images to your group, or to a group that is already created. This allows you to customize your particular group. Select from the directory tree which group you want to save your images in. You must have the Save privilege or authority.
Create Remote Launch - Enables you to create a URL to launch Insight from within another web page or application.
