Viewing Multi-Page Documents

After the Administrator has created a multi-page document, your user can access and view it using either the Multi-Page Remote or Image Workspace Tools.  For Administrators who would like to create a multi-page document, please read Creating Multi-Page Documents in the Administrator Tools User Guide, Release 4.0.  Follow the steps below to view multi-page documents:

  1. Log on to Insight

  2. Click on the Multi-Page Document icon.  The icon looks like a miniature book and it is located next to the Exit button (0) on the Insight main console.  This will display all the multi-page documents within that specific collection.  Note: Every multi-page document in this group has a Multi-Page Document icon attached to it.  Any document that does not have the Multi-Page Document icon attached to it means that multi-page documents have not been created for that document.

  3. Select a document or book from this group and click on its respective icon to open its multi-page documents.

If you know the specific book or document which contains the multi-page documents , select the document or book first (after logging on), and then click on its respective icon to see its corresponding multi-page documents.

  1. After clicking on the Multi-Page Document icon, the Multi-Page Remote tool and the Image Workspace tools appear on your screen, as well as an image of your selected document or book.  To display all the thumbnail images that represent the multi-page documents, click on the binocular (found on the Multi-Page Remote Tool) or Multi-Page Document ^ (located in the lower right hand of your screen).   Each thumbnail is marked with a chapter, section, and page for easy identification.

To find a document(s) within a collection, type in a unique title, chapter, section, page, any text, or keyword in the blank field below the thumbnail images and press the Find button.  The Multi-Page Document search will display thumbnail images of all documents within your opened (current) collection that match your search criteria.

  1. To study a specific page in more detail, use the Multi-Page Remote and Image Workspace tools
