Viewing Multi-views

Multi-view images can only be viewed if you have multi-view images in your active collection.  You will only see the Multi-view icon if your collection consists of multi-view images.  This icon will appear on the upper right side of the Insight toolbar, next to the Exit icon, as well as on each individual thumbnail that has a multi-view image.  Multi-views are ideal for viewing a specific object from multiple views.  To view a multi-view image, follow the steps below:

  1. Double-click on the Multi-view icon on the main toolbar for Insight.  All images with multi-views will appear in your Group Workspace.

  2. Select a multi-view image.

  3. You will be taken to the Image Workspace.  The anchor image is the first image that you will see on the screen.  You will also see the Image Workspace Tool and the Remote Tool used to advance through the sequence of images.

  4. Click the arrows on the remote to move to the next image.  These images are in the order that they were originally created in Multi-view.  You can go backwards, forwards, up, and down.

As you view the images in your Image Workspace, you will be able to utilize all the functions of the Image Workspace Tool on the images that are displayed.
Note:
If you zoom in or zoom out on one image in Multi-views, all the rest of the images will display at the same resolution as that one image.

  1. Select the Close Image feature from the Image Workspace Tool to close or exit the Multi-view function

  2. Select the Return to Group Window button on the Image Workspace Tool to return to the Group Window
