Broadening a Search

To expand the result set:

1. Select the New Search button.  Broaden and Narrow options will be provided.

2. Select the Broaden Search button.

The list of searchable Data Fields options will be presented so that the Search can be expanded by the selected terms and values.

For example, again search for works where “Nationality” equals “French”

3. Broaden the result set by selecting New Search and clicking Broaden Search.

4. Select Category equals Print

The new result set will show works where EITHER Nationality equals French OR Category equals Print.
