The Close Image function deletes or removes selected images from the Image Workspace. However, the closed images will still be available in the group from which they came.
To use the Close Image function:
Click the Close Image function on the tool; this will cause the active image in the Image Workspace to close and disappear from your active workspace.
Note: You can close all images in your workspace at once by holding down the Shift-key and then clicking the Close icon on the toolbar.
