The Zoom In function enables you to magnify an active image.
To use the Zoom In function:
Click the Zoom In feature on the tool. The icon will turn yellow and it is now active.
Click on any active image and when clicking down on the mouse button, the image will zoom in one size. You can zoom into an image until it is at the highest size available. You will know that the image is at the most magnified size available when you see in the bottom of the Image Workspace the words: Cannot zoom in. No larger size is available.
An alternate way of zooming is the drag-zoom. With the zoom tool activated (click on the zoom tool once to activate it), click and drag a box around a detail in the image.
Another short-cut method of zooming is by holding the Ctrl-key down while zooming on an image. This is called a “super zoom”, and will automatically zoom to the highest resolution available for that image.
