Exporting Presentation to HTML

You will only see this feature if you have an existing presentation.  Also, you must be authorized or have the privilege to use this feature.  This feature exports a presentation to a destination of your choice as an html file.  You also have the ability to select a resolution for exporting your presentation.  After the presentation has been exported, Insight enables you to immediately test your presentation by opening it in your active browser.

  1. Create a presentation and save it (if you do not currently have a presentation).

  2. Select the presentation that you just created or find another presentation by clicking on the Presentation icon on the Group toolbar.

  3. To export a presentation, click on File in the main menu, and then Export Presentation to HTML.

Note:  You must select an existing presentation in your current collection before you see this listed in your File menu.

Note:
Export to Powerpoint is only available for Window Clients

  1. Select a resolution to view the images in your presentation.

  1. Export a presentation to a destination of your choice as an html file.  Specify a destination folder and Insight will provide a name for your file. For example: in the graphic below, Insight will automatically create a file called pres.html that may be placed in your Group Files within the MyPresentation folder.

  1. Select Save, and Insight will display the path to where the presentation was exported.

Note:  Insight creates a folder and uses the title of the presentation as the name of the folder. The HTML files are placed in this folder. In the example below, the title of the presentation is "Untitled1," therefore, Insight creates a folder named Untitled1 and the .html files are placed in that folder.

You can test your exported presentation by clicking the test exported presentation box. This will open your browser and you will see each image in your presentation, in the order that you created.
