We scan photographs, nitrate negatives, glass plate negatives, panoramic prints, and a variety of printed materials.
As a leader in digitization services for the cultural heritage community, Luna Imaging has worked closely with the David Rumsey Map Collection, as well as numerous other institutions and individuals, to create high-quality digital map collections. We deliver very high resolution images scanned at at least 300 pixels per inch, as measured against the original map's dimensions.
In addition, we provide LUNA Software, a powerful suite of tools for building and hosting online photo collections. LUNA's robust feature set includes annotations, embedded metadata, and georeferencing through our integration with Klokan Technologies.
Luna imaging provides a wide array of digitization services and has the personnel, equipment, space and workflow to accommodate projects of any size. We also recognize the difficulty in moving large, fragile and valuable collections and we provide services to support site and project-specific digital studios.
