LUNA 7.6.1 is an exciting release that leverages AI technology to enhance a user’s search experience in the LUNA Viewer and supplement descriptive data for images in the LUNA Library.
AI Catalog Assist: We’ve automated a process in the LUNA Library to create AI Generated Media Summaries to supplement the descriptive data that exists within LUNA Collections.
Supports the generation of AI generated data in paragraph and/or list formats for new and existing collections which is displayed in the LUNA Viewer along with the metadata.
Includes built-in prompts and allows you to create custom AI prompts for desired results, depending upon the variabilities in the collection materials and your goals.
The feature can also be used to create transcriptions and translations.
AI Search Assist: We’ve enhanced discovery in the LUNA Viewer by providing a conversational search blending record metadata with AI-generated context.
Users can chat with an AI chat bot to ask questions about the materials in a collection, with informational responses suggesting related material and new avenues for exploration.
Supports restricting domains to prevent e-commerce site results.
Open AI and Google Gemini are currently supported as models for the AI output. Fees apply, check with the service provider for details.
